Think Before You Share

Before you tell a friend something you heard, ask yourself: "Is it true? Is it kind? Is it helpful?" If the answer to any of these is no, think twice before sharing.

Responsible Sharing

Sharing information is powerful. When you share something true and helpful, you help others. When you share something false or unkind, you can hurt people — even if you did not mean to.

The Three Questions

  1. Is it TRUE? Have you checked it?
  2. Is it KIND? Could it hurt someone's feelings?
  3. Is it HELPFUL? Does it help someone or solve a problem?
Responsible:Making careful, thoughtful choices that are fair and honest.
Once You Share, You Cannot Take It Back

Once you share information — especially online — it can spread very fast. Always check before you share!
